Mrs. Jayne Robertson has lived in Winnsboro all her life. She is 61 years young and attends Union Memorial Presbyterain Church. She graduated from Winnsboro High School and also Midlands Technical College with an Associate of Arts degree. She is employed by Fairfield Elementary School School as the Library Assistant.

Ms. Robertson enjoys spending time with her grandchildren in her free time, along with fishing, cooking, and gardening. She shared that she battled with breast cancer and won! Having cancer changed not only her appearance but her perspective on life. She is very thankful for her life and her faith.

Her favorite childhood memories are fishing and spending time with her family. Her favorite recent memories are spending time with her children and grandchildren watching them learn the things she loves. One of her most most memorable life experiences is graduating from Midlands with her sister. She believes that working with children--watching them grow and learn, finding joy in their faces as they explore new concepts, and watching them develop into caring and successful people is what gives her life purpose. Her advice for today’s generation is to “Learn all you can in school and do your best in all that you do. Never stop learning!"
