Academic Student of the Week

The Academic Student of the Week for Fairfield County School District is Nevaeh Wright.

Nevaeh is a 4th grader at McCrorey-Liston School of Technology. She demonstrates a growth mindset and is constantly proving that she can do anything as long as she believes in the power of 'yet.' She has maintained honor roll this school year and has also been recognized as one of the top readers in her class. Recently, she was selected as an ambassador for our AVID Showcase. Nevaeh was a natural. She led guests throughout our building and highlighted important information about our school. She was able to articulate and explain all of the student work that was posted throughout our building. She is truly a student with AVID goals!

Nevaeh is an active member of the youth department at St. Peter AME Church in Blair, SC. At school, she is a member of the Young Ladies of Excellence group and she serves as a student ambassador.
