On August 5, 2019, the Zion Hill community gathered at The Old National Guard Armory for the Zion Hill Prevention Save the Kids 24th Annual Back-to-SchoolBash. The Back-to-School Bash is a family tradition that was started by the late Ms. Tillie Armstrong, and members of the Armstrong family continue her legacy. Mrs.Belva Bush Belton was the Mistress of Ceremony. The event was blessed with an opening prayer by Reverend Ricky Gibson. The speakers were Dr. J.R. Green, Superintendent of Fairfield County Schools, and Ms. Sylvia D. Harrison, a member of The Fairfield County School District Board of Trustees.

Entertainment was provided by Lucid Soul. A wide variety of vendors participated in the Back-to-School Bash, providing supplies for the upcoming school year.

Overall, the event was a success, and it is always great to see students have fun at this annual event!
