Geiger’s Annual Pageant

Geiger’s Annual Pageant was held March 14, 2019 and was hosted by the dynamic duo of Ms. Gervonder Brown and Mr. Kennedy Robertson. The pageant’s theme this year was Geiger Masquerade Mardi Gras Style. The contestants participated in a second line style parade to start the competition. Throughout the night, the girls (Child Development 3 - 5th grade) unveiled their inner beauty by sharing their dreams and aspirations. They competed in several competitions such as Individuality/Personality Wear, Formal Wear, and a Question and Answer section. The contestants appeared on-stage in an outfit of their own choosing that illustrated their personality. The outfits also represented the contestant’s individuality, and expressed their style and preferences. Individuality wear was judged in the areas of stage presentation, originality, and creativity of outfit selection. Next, the young ladies competed in the formal wear and questions and answer section. The formal wear competition was based on style, confidence, and overall stage presence. The on-stage question and answer phase of competition was designed for the contestants to make an on-stage statement of their opinions and be able to confidently expression themselves. Each young lady graced the stage with their beautiful presence and unveiled their beauty after answering their questions. The pageant was truly a display of creativity, uniqueness, talent, and showcased our confident young ladies. The young ladies exhibited inside and outer beauty. During the pageant the young ladies were assisted and escorted by our GES 2019 Prince, Brandon Adams and GES King, Zyhon Young. The event was a beautiful example of “Geiger Greatness” on display and the teamwork of the Geiger Family.
