"The Journey Begins"

Elder Derrick S. Hollins Sr. is a teacher, a leader, a counselor, style coach, mentor, and most importantly a man of God. He is married to Elder Cecelia D. Hollins, and they have four children and six grandchildren. Pastor Hollins was called to preach in 1996 and became an Elder in 2001 under the leadership of Bishop Joseph McBride of Praise and Deliverance Temple International Ministries. In 2017, Elder Hollins was appointed as the assistant pastor at Gethsemane Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eric Bell. Elder Hollins is employed with BHI-Energy Nuclear Services.

On March 17, 2019, Pastor Hollins was installed as pastor of the Shiloh First Independent Church of Winnsboro. Pastor Robert Charles was the Master of Ceremony for the service. The installation message was delivered by Pastor Eric Bell, pastor of the Gethsemane Baptist Church. The installation ceremony was performed by Bishop Joseph McBride. Senator Mike Fanning and House of Representative Annie McDaniel were both in attendance and provided congratulatory words to Reverend Hollins.
