Barclay Students

Barclay Students share school pride

My name is Joe. I am 17 years old, and I go to the Barclay School. This school has helped me in so many ways, like actually staying in school. When I first came from my other school, I lacked the motivation to move forward. As a result of that, I stopped going to school and lacked self-confidence. This is my sixth year now and I am actually graduating in four months. I have always struggled with testing and never scored well. At our school, we do not test or have homework. Instead of that, we do projects. By doing projects, we learn public speaking skills and how to work as a team. This school has helped me excel far past the expectations that I had for myself. I am so grateful and happy that I found a place that has changed my future for the better.

My name is J.J. I’m 18 and I’m graduating this year from the Barclay School. This school has been very helpful to me. Before I came here I never liked going to school. But ever since I joined Barclay, I’ve been more excited about coming to school. Barclay’s teachers and students have taught me public speaking skills and sportsmanship, and I also understand other students better than I could ever have than if I had stayed in my old school. My favorite things about the school are the small classes and one-on-one learning with the teachers. When I graduate, I plan on coming back to spend time with everyone here.
