Betty Joe Robinson was born on January 16, 1947 and left an indelible mark on her community. She became a very important figure in the Greenbrier area of Winnsboro, South Carolina and was known for her numerous contributions to improving her community. Most of her adult life was spent running a local community store, Betty Joe Store. She helped feed many people throughout Winnsboro. She was known for her exquisite cooking and grandmotherly nature. She created her store/restaurant from the ground up as a family owned business. Her store is still open and giving back thanks to her daughter Barbara Young. Although she has passed, Winnsboro still holds her dear to its heart.
