Fairfield County’s Dancing Diamond Elite: The FC Diamond Elite Seniors and Minis Dance Team, an auxiliary dance team of the Elite Ladies of Fairfield County School District consisting of dancers in CD4 - 10th grade entered their second competition of the season on March 12th. The Dance Trifecta, Volume 1, sponsored by Embody by V, LLC, was a dance competition designed to give students in grades K-12 the opportunity to competitively perform in an array of dance genres in three movement categories - Traditional Dance Team, HBCU Dance Team, & HBCU Danceline - before a panel of professional dance judges. The FC Diamond Elite Seniors & Minis Dance Team, who have only been dancing together competitively for two monthstook home the following awards and recognition:

  • 3rd place, Stand Battle

  • Squad Goals Award

  • Crowd Favorite Award

As a result of their performance at the competition, the team was extended an invitation to perform at Fairfield Central’s Golden Griffin Marching Band Gym Battle on Saturday, April 13th at 4 pm in Fairfield Central High School Gym. The cost for this event is $10 (advance) and $15 (at the door).
