Senior Spotlight

Mrs. Sarah J. Bush has strived to make a difference in her church as well as her community. After retiring from Fairfield County School District as a cafeteria worker, Mrs. Bush volunteered with Meals on Wheels and delivered meals. She loved working in an atmosphere where there was always the laughter of children. During the summer months, she spent time working at Camp Longridge in Ridgeway, South Carolina. Camp Longridge is a christian camp and retreat center for youth. Mrs. Bush is a past Worthy Matron of Purity Lodge #142 Order of the Eastern Stars, member of the Gospel Choir and Missionary Society at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. For 88 years she has allowed her light to shine. Congratulations Mrs. Bush!!
