FCHS Baseball Senior Night

Story by: Tracie SwilleyContributor

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, while the rest of the district was on Spring Break, our Varsity Baseball Team was in full swing. The Griffins hosted Camden Military Academy for second night after defeating them on Monday in Camden. This night was different as they would begin the game recognizing their only senior, Mr. Jordan Dove. Jordan Dove, #31, was escorted by his mom, Dana Dove, and his grandmother, Diane Dove. His motto in life is, “Fame is when people know your name. Notoriety is when people know your work. Notoriety leaves a legacy”. His goal after graduating is to attend the University of South Carolina-Columbia majoring in BioChemistry and Molecular Biology on a pre-med track. His ultimate goal is to become an anesthesiologist. Jordan is also a member of the STEM Early College Academy Cohort 2 and will graduate from Midlands Technical College on May 8, 2019 at 7:00pm, a month before his high school graduation, with an Associate’s Degree in Science. Fairfield Central High School. Thanks Jordan Dove for his contributions to our Baseball Program and for getting it done on the field and in the classroom. Jordan is the epitome of student athlete and a Griffin soaring to greatness
